Did my cat feel pain before he died?

Animals do feel pain in daily life and that is why they will squeal when hurt often though cats that die go at a gentle pace making little suffering.

Well, to answer all living thing on this earth feel pain. If your cat died quickly or during its sleep then for sure the cat didn't feel any pain during death. If it limp on after being hit from a car then for sure the cat felt the excruciating pain before it died of blood loss.
