Could you please explain Harley Davidson jetting for a carburetor?

I need this explained in simple terms, kind of like Harley Davidson repair for dummies.

Actually these are nozzles. These control the amount of fuel which is allowed to flow out of the carburetor. If the jetting is reduced, the flow will be reduced.

Basically they are little nozzles that restrict the amount of fuel that can flow out of the carb. The bigger the jet the more fuel the richer the fuel mixture.
