I would check with your veterinarian for a definitive answer and to make sure their will be no interactions that you need to be aware of. From my experience with animals putting medication in a cats food, or in a treat, is the best and easiest way to make sure that your animal gets whats good for him.

You can try crushing the pill and mixing it in the food, just make sure the cat eats all of it. Not necessary for liquids - just squirt down the throat.

You can put it in their fodd, but then the cat must eat all the food or the doasage will not be correct. It would be better if you could just give it orally.
