There is classical guitar music to be played on a classical guitar. This guitar is fitted with nylon strings and is played with a special technigue to produce this sound.

You can definitely play classical music on the acoustic guitar. Most classical music is written for other instruments and so the pieces have to be converted into the chords for the acoustic guitar. They don't sound exactly the same, but the are similar enough that the compositions can be recognized.

Oh absolutely. Some of the most complex and beautiful classical music was written for acoustic guitar singularly or with minor piano and drum accompaniment. A good deal of the music has a Latin flavor to it and is amazingly complex in structure. Zambra Granadina by Isaac Albenis is a good example.

Certainly! I myself started by learning classical guitar. Many great guitarists in jazz, metal, rock, and other genres start out playing classical guitar. Please look up the brilliant Andrés Segovia to hear a great example of classical guitar.
