Take a picture of the bug before it flies or crawls way. E-Mail the picture to your county agriculture extension service or an area college with an entomology department.

If we know more details we can narrow it down. Does it have wings, how many legs does it have, is it making a sound? If it has wings it could be a wasp or a bee, if not perhaps it is a beetle. If it has eight legs, it is not an insect at all but a spider.
