There's a very large bee in my back yard. It's black and yellow striped, but is giant compared to other bees. What kind of bee is it?

The bee is just an old yellow bee. Usually they hurt when they sting you and they always fly low to the ground.

The bee is likely a species of bumble bee (Family Apidae, Subfamily Apinae, Tribe Bombini). They are generally larger than common honey bees, are yellow and black, and are "fuzzy".
