Can you bake a cake in a microwave?

Sorry, but there is no really good recipe for baking a cake in the microwave.Never turns out light and fluffy or rises as high as if you had baked a cake in the oven.If your in a hurry and want to try it,make sure you use a good plastic pan,and watch carefully.Good Luck!

It is indeed possible to bake a cake in a microwave. It calls for many of the same ingredients as oven cakes. Mix water, flower, vegetable oil, baking soda, eggs, and sugar together and you have a basic microwave cake.

You cannot bake a true cake in a microwave. However, there are "mug cakes" that can be made with cake mix in a microwave.
