Although the spray does not cause damage directly, someone the spray has been used on can in turn hurt themselves while dealing with the pain.

No permanent damage but it can cause swollen eyes and nasal passages. But sometimes a bear who is sprayed will turn on the person. That can cause permanent damage.

My departments issues it. The only risk of damage is if you discharge it into the eyes (or other areas of soft tissue) at close proximity. It comes out as a pressurized liquid jet and needs a little room to turn to vapor, else the jet stream can cause injury.

some says it will because when its been sprayed at your eyes it will cause very damaging pain. it depends in the location for example in the eye, skin, hair, and other body parts of an human body. but in my opinion it will cause a permanent damage when uyou doht have money.
