Yes, you can still get pimples on tattoos. When you get a tattoo, your skin stays the same with the exception of ink forced under the epidermis. When you get a pimple on a tattoo, it's very possible, however, that it will scar and possible cause fading.

Once a tattoo heals over, the pores then open back up and can get clogged. Getting this in the area of your tattoo is not a good situation by any means. If pimples occur on your tattoo, you need to be careful as to busting it for scarring can cause damage.

If skin could get pimples before a tattoo, that same skin can get pimples afterwards. A more serious issue would be skin cancer, some of which does look like acne.

Well I would say that you could. Skin is susceptible to pimple so you could possible have a pimple form under the skin where you had previously got a tattoo.
