With the right preparation I'm sure that you can. Boat building takes a little knowledge in different areas of building. Some of them would include math, boat dimensions, structural design, woodworking and marine finishes. Planning and construction can be very challenging but can be a very useful learning experience. Just remember not to build your boat in your basement.

Yes, you can build it. Get blue prints. Make sure you build it in a place that you can get it out of. Like a garage.

Well you can build it. You will need to purchase all of the supplies. Secondly, you should buy a book on do it yourself from Home Depot.

Yes you can. But you may want to ask yourself, is this going to be cost affective? You can buy a small tin bass boat pretty cheap in the off season and this may actually be cheaper then buying all the materials to make one yourself. Also, you know that it will float.
