Question by  Jusgrowinup (1)

Can a military personnel be married to someone in the same branch? Or does a military person have to marry a civilian?

Just want to know if it's possible.

No restrictions. There are couples in the same branch who are married, and people in one service married someone in a different branch. Some couples have been deployed together and serve together. The usual concerns apply with regard to supervision, certain duties, etc., as they would in any endeavor.

Many military personnel are married within the same branch. A member of one branch of the service can marry someone who is in another branch as well. Couples can be stationed or deployed together as well. Considerations about one spouse being the supervisor of the other, or certain assignments, would be an issue just like in civilian life.

While in the military, you can marry pretty much anyone (different sex) you want too. That includes military, military from different branches, civilians and foriegners (although you have to ask your commander's permission overseas). You can't DATE (but can marry) anyone below you in your chain of command or face military justice.
