Are Wilton baby shower cakes really the cream of the crop?

I have never heard of a Wilton baby shower cake. I know that the Wilton company makes baking and candy supplies, I have used those many times and feel those products are top notch and I would say for me, they are the cream of the crop.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion. For some people the answer would be yes. For others there's nothing to compare to home made. The big thing Wilton has going for it is the amazing number and shap of cake tins available and the fancy frosting patterns.

What makes a Wilton cake unique is the pan used to bake the batter. It is the icing decorating that gets the fantastic reviews depending on the skill of the cake decorator. A well done Wilton cake looks great but the frosting is what you see, the cake is the basis for the design.

Wilton cakes can be great, but other good choices is ice cream cakes. But the best cakes are any ones that are decorated cute, like a diaper or rattle.
