Yes. Red ants are very dangerous in that if you step on one of their nests they will attack first by biting and then by spinning in a circle, stinging!

Fire ants can be extremely dangerous. They can cause painful bites. These are generally found in the southern United States and other warm climates.

They can be a pain when they invade your area. I think that red ants actually bite and can be painful. But I have never actually heard of a dangerous ant. I may be wrong. Maybe there are more exotic ones that can be, I know there are dangerous spiders.

Yes, for example, the burn ants that when they bite you, you feel a similar burned pain or there are some ants that produce you allergies by their bites, obviously the majority of this animals are not dangerous commonly the dark ants are the most dangerous and are faster that the others

Most ants are not dangerous. However, there are few dangerous species that can injure and kill: fire ants, army ants, bullet ants, and jack jumper ant.
