Two separate paintings. "The Blue Boy" is by Thomas Gainsborough and "Pinky" is another one of his. Both are on display at the Huntington Gardens in San Marino, CA.

The Blue Boy, and Pinkie are two separate paintings. They hang opposite each other at The Huntington institute in San Marino, California. The Blue Boy, circa 1770, was painted by Thomas Gainsborough. Pinkie, from 1794, was painted by Thomas Lawrence, and is a portrait of Sarah Goodin Barrett Moulton, the daughter of a wealthy plantation owner.
