Anyone know anything about treatment of a subchondral bone cyst as a result of trauma following a fall and surgery?

An orthopedist would know about such treatment. Treatment of any bone cyst depends on a number of factors, all of which would have to be considered after examination by a physician.

If the bone cyst is not causing you pian, then you don't do anything about it. If there is significant pain or loss of function,there can be surgery.
