What is the best treatment for an oral bone spur?

I have a bone spur from the spot that I had my wisdom teeth removed from.

An oral bone spur is best left alone, unless it is bothering to the individual. To remove the bone spur completely, it is best to have a oral surgeon shave the spur off under general anesthetic.

If it is very small, it may work itself to the surface and be plucked out like a splinter. If it has any size to it, it will need to be removed by your dentist. If left alone they can be very painful and cause infection in the area of the spur.
