Would polar bears eat penguins?

Answer by  Deb43 (579)

Yes, if they are hungry enough. Polar bears have sharp claws and teeth; they also eat meat and need a lot of calories to keep them warm in the arctic.

If polar bears had a chance to eat a penguin, it probably would. However, polar bears and penguins live very far apart. The polar bear lives in the arctic regions of North America, Europe and Asia whereas penguins live in Antarctica.
