Candida is a yeast that is fairly common in pregnancy. There are treatments available to alleviate and rid your body of the symptoms. Although uncomfortable, it will not harm your pregnancy or the baby.

Yes candida can affect pregnancies but not in the way that it would "get" to the baby. Many of the flora in your stomach is also in your vagina, so flora imbalance in your stomach may mean there is an imbalance elsewhere. If this is the case then the bad bacteria may reach your uterus thus harm the baby

During pregnancy one must be really careful in taking any medication. Any oral medication should necessarily under the supervision of medical expert. But external application can be taken when in exegency. Candida may not affect your pregnancy
