Will pepper keep dogs from pooping in my yard?

Apparently, you simply sprinkle the Cayenne Pepper around the area they have gone and they won't return to the same spot. To deter them from doing so in the first place, you could sprinkle a border of Cayenne Pepper to prevent them from crossing onto your lawn.

Its worth a try. I have never heard of that and it would only work for a short time, sprinklers and weather will dilute the pepper so the dog wont care anyway. I have yet to hear of a way to keep a dog from pooping that actually works. They may have enzyme spray you can use that will deter

Pepper will probably only work in the areas you place it. It wouldnt be effective to cover your whole yard and then replace it after a few days. Buy a Bird-x it produces a sound that repels animals and is motion sensored so you wont have to gaurd your lawn.

Pepper wont keep dogs from pooping in your yard. It's best to put up signs so the human keeper of the dogs in your neighborhood knows this is not acceptable in your yard. It really isnt the dogs fault I blame this on humans who dont keep up with their dogs -- it's rude sorry...
