If you enjoy movies about Dracula, then you will probably enjoy the Monster Squad DVD, though it does have a slight twist as Dracula is being stopped by a bunch of kids. The movie is intended for families as it is an action movie that also incorporates a great deal of comedy.

Monster squad is a movie about a group of young kids that form a club that is devoted to Monsters. Monsters come to these kids town and they form together to protect it against the evil forces.

That's something I can't answer for you as it depends on taste. If you liked the series when it was out you'll probably love the chance to see it again.
