Why should you use terracotta pots?

Terracotta pots can regulate humidity to a certain degree. The material stores water and allows it to evaporate it the earth inside is too humid or gives it back if it is too dry. Plastic pots do not have this feature.

Terracotta pots are non-porous and hold moisture longer. They are frost and freeze resistant and hold up better in extremes in temperatures. Another benefit is that they will not blow over easy on a windy day and come in many shapes and sizes to accent any garden and are loved by many gardeners.
