Why is the fuel pump relay not grounding?

Get an electrical schematic diagram for your vehicles fuel pump circuit. Determine where the relay receives its ground signal. It may ground through he computer.

I would begin by checking the wiring and ensure that the problem isn't grounding, but a broken wire. From there, I would ensure the fuel pump relay was not defective, and ensure my battery had a good ground and that the place I was grounding the fuel pump was good.
