Why is night driving harder than day driving?

its harder to drive at night because its harder to see at night. sure you can see the headlights, but those headlights can blind you. you cant see the road at night so you dont see any potholes or other hazards. you cant see the pedestrians till your practically on top of them as well.

Well, to be honest, it's easier to see the cars in the day time because you can see much more about what's ahead of you and what's on the side of you. It's harder to see stuff in the dark even though there are a few lights. The lights may seem blinding.
