Why is my TV picture gone?

Your TV picture is gone and you still have sound may not be bad, the video cable may have unplugged from the back of the TV and it may be as simple as reconnecting the cable if that is not the case, you may have a more serious problem which you may need to call a repairman for.

There could be any number of reasons and may depend on the type of television. If your T.V. is an old model it could be the oscillator.
