Why is my Rose of Sharon dropping leaves?

It could be due to to much variation of the condition of the soil from wet to dry. It needs to remain constant. The ph condition of the soil could be another factor. You might also check for a bacterial infection.

The Rose of Sharon is a beautiful shrub that when first planted will need a bit of extra attention. Living in a hot, dry area may mean that you will need to water it more than if you live in a cooler area. If it does not receive the attention it needs it may result in leaves dropping.

you rose of sharon is dropping leaves because it is getting way to much sun or its not getting enough sun. most plants have a happy medium they only want so much sun at a time try giving it less sun and try giving it a little bit more water
