I live in Florida because my husband grew up here. We met in Wisconsin, where we both had jobs. After his dad died, he missed Florida and warm weather.
I chose the city because it's where my family is, but I chose the neighborhood because it's diverse, urban, walkable, and progressive. A little bit of blue in a sea of red. :)
This answer varies for every person. I live where I do because it is the most unique and exiciting place that I have ever been. I live in New Orleans, and it is a city with unique charm and character.
