Why does my toilet keep backing up and coming up in the tub when I flush or run the washing machine?

Your problem is most likely caused by a blockage in the drain line after the point that the last fixture that causes an overflow is connected. Look for a clean-out along that length of pipe, buy or borrow a plumbers snake, and plug your nose!

This is most likely caused by a back-up in the pipe either leading to your septic tank or to your city sewage line. Call a plumbing company to come "snake" out your lines and you should be good.

What do i do? Cant afford a plumber. Toilet backs up and coming up in tub too when i flush and even when i run the washer.
