Why does my seatbelt light stay on all the time?

The sensor on the drivers side that connects into the bottom of the seat belt harness is lose, or is disconnected. Another option would be your fuse is out.

There is a sensor in the seatbelt that is not working. The easiest thing you can do is take the dash apart and pull the bulb out. It is going to be hard to replace the sensor itself so just get the light out of your face. That will be the quickest way.
