You may need to adjust or replace the sensor. Motion detectors actually detect heat sources that come within their range and do not detect motion. There are probably instructions for adjusting the sensitivity of the sensor in the information that came with the light.

Well try calling customer service and report the problem. Sounds like a manufacturing defect to me on this one that needs to be reported.

It sounds like the sensor needs to be replaced. Your best bet would be to call a lighting professinal. They will be able to tell you whats wrong and fix the problem.

All you need to do is go to a store and buy a replacement sensor and put on it problem solved.

It sounds like there is something that is blocking the eye of the motion detector. Either a spider or something that is making the flood lite stay on. Clean the area throughly. If it still doesn't work take it back to the store. This happened to me and the eye was blocked.
