Why does my motorcycle stall when I stop?

There are many different reasons for this, but the most likely is you need to adjust the fuel supply. If you've got a non fuel injected engine this is easy, it's just a case of turning an adjustment screw on the carburettor. Other things to check are the choke, spark plugs and so on.

First I would look at the idle setting. If it is below approximately 800 RPM then it is set too low.
