Historically noise is associated with loose parts or lack of lubrication. I would check first any external parts that are loose and not appropriately tight. Use finger tips to check each bolt and tighten. Also look at lubrication of chain and items that could use grease. Lastly, if noise continues it could be related to engine knocking.

Not knowing the model or year of your bike all I can guess is that your valves are out of adjustment. As the bike is ran the drive-train can loosen to the point that it can tick tor tap. You need to reset the valve lash.
