Well it sounds like an ignition problem. Check the ignition for misfire and the plugs to make sure that are gapped right and in good shape.

alot of the new boat motors have a computer on them like a car. check with the dealer before you start throwing parts at it.
it could be several different things. have a mechanic check the onboard computer, airfilter and fuelpump. it could be something simple.
