To keep your throttle from sticking on your car you either need to clean the throttle body with choke and carb cleaner or replace the trottle linkage and cable.

This is simple. Get Throttle body cleaner (not carb cleaner) and pull the intake tube and clean the "butterfly" in the throttle body.

First thing to do is to make sure the throttle cable and arm are not binding then lubricate them both. The make sure the throttle body is not worn out and sticking. Then finally use some cleaner to remove any residue from around the throttle blades.

A stuck throttle usually means your throttle assembly needs a serious cleaning. This is usually because of deposits from using cheap gas.
