Why does my computer freeze when I play games?

Computers can freeze when playing games for a few reasons. The video drivers could be out of date. The computer may be getting too hot.

It could be that it might not have enough RAM (random access memory) to support the graphics of some specific games, a reason for that is there are too many applications open at once. Could be as well that your computer has some viruses, spyware or something similar.
