Why do I have yellow leaves on my Russian sage?

That can be a sign of over-watering or not enough water. Weather changes can cause leaves to yellow. Insects could be the cause.

Generally, yellow leaves indicate over watering of a plant. Before you water next time, pull some of the soil back and feel the soil about an inch or two deep. If the soil is moist, don't water.

You Russian sage may be receiving to much water. Let the soil dry out between watering. These plants do well when they are not over-watered. It may also help to get the soil healthy so that the plant has more nutrients to draw from. Use an organic fertilizer on the soil surrounding the plant.
