Usually a burning throat is in association with acid reflux or heartburn. Other wise you ate a pretty spicy food

You may have indigestion and it can cause irritation of the throat. You could also have an infection such as strep throat.

The burning throat may be due to bacterial meningitis. It may be also because of appendesities or lupus. The best remedy is to gargle with luke warm salt water.
