Why do girls date abusive men?

It is mysterious. But there seem to be some deep reasons behind it. Sometimes the girl's father was abusive toward the mother and that is the only male role model she sees. Sometimes the woman has a deep insecurity that makes her think she is not worth a better guy.

It's not that girls want to date abusive men, it's actually because those abusive men make good first impressions. These first impressions inspire the hope in girls that the man is actually legit, even if he's not. After they get their hope inspired, they begin to focus on that hope, because sometimes destroying hope is just as painful.

Mostly the girls who stay with abusive men have the mentality that the people they are with will change. Or they feel as though they have nowhere else to go.

In this day and age, the sexes are equal in power, but there is a sexual element to tipping that balance back to caveman mentalities. Sometimes this makes abusive men attractive, so girls date them, and if they fall in love, they'll make excuses for them.

Girls normally prefer nice guys, but genetically, they are more attracted to abusive men because its a masculine thing and they also know that they are being their own personality. With nice guys, whether it is true or fake, it will always look like a guy is trying to pretend to be nice to impress a girl.
