There are several things that could be occuring here. Overwatering could be to blame, let the soil dry out completely before watering again. Or your jade plant could be receiving too much or two little sun. It needs about four hours of direct light per day.

Jade plants are very sensitive to overwatering. Cut back on the water by fifty percent, maybe giving the plant water every other day to see if it improves.

Jade plants may look tough but need tender care. Too much watering or touching can cause leaves to fall off. Gently dust plant to clean them. Do not apply water.

Jade plants are succulents, meaning the vast majority of the leaves are water. They are very susceptible to frost and drying out. If the leaves are turning silvery brown and thin before they fall off and they are not near cold temperatures, they are likely drying out. This might be a case of root rot caused by too much water.
