Why is my Autumn Blaze maple is losing leaves early in the and not turning red? What can I do to correct this?

It used to turn red in the fall, but the last few years the leaves have just turned black in the fall and then fall off in the spring.

It needs more water and try adding osmacoat around the base. Or borax soap works well at adding the color back to the leaves.

A good way to correct this is that you are overwatering. You can stop watering so often and with too much water. An other cause is that you plant it very deep and the root happens damage. This are the most often resons.

This is a common sign that your tree is not getting enough water. Take 3 buckets and fill them with water. Dip the leaves in the water and then rub the tree with the wet leaves. In 2-6 weeks, you should start to notice a difference. If not, chop the tree down and make a table out of it.

The main reason any maple loses its leaves early is stress. Overwatering, planting too deep, and root damage are the most common causes. Remove the stressor.
