Why are hologram baseball cards worth more?

Well I believe it is because they are typically more rare than standard cards. They require a more expensive process to print them so the card company will produce less of them. So that means that there are far less circulating around compared to the standard cards. Collector also like these cards because they are more interesting and desirable.

In gereral,hologram baseball cards tend to be worth more because the are more expensive to produce,so the compamies would not produce as many.This tends to increase the demand for them.

In general, no. They were so commonly produced that their values were so low. It is possible that their may be a couple of higher priced cards depending on the player though. If the player is no longer playing and was never an all-time great, then the card probably isn't worth it's weight in cardboard.

I don't know why this is first time i hear about them,baseball is not popular sport in my country,but i suppose because they are rare
