Why are destroyed jeans in style?

Distressed jeans are hot. They allow the wearer to look like they have owned the jeans forever. Since jeans are the ultimate in casual wear a person can leave the clean cut look for their more formal fabric clothes. A distressed cashmere sweater would not be hot it would just be a hot mess.

Destroyed jeans are probably in style because girls like to show off their legs and boys use them probably because they see girls use them and they think is a new style that is popular.There are still some boys and girls that use some nice clean cut clothes people just use destroyed jeans because they see other people use them.
