What will destroy the world?

Provided that humankind doesn't manage it using weapons, it would probably be the result of a cosmic event. A large enough asteroid or comet could theoretically have enough force to wipe out all life or even destroy the planet itself.

According to the Bible, the physical world will never be destroyed because God purposed for it to be home for man forever. Wicked people are the ones to be destroyed.
