It can be a number of things from bad gas to have you done a tune up on it resently. You may have stored it after use and water got into the electrical system .

First, if it has been setting make sure to use fresh gas. Then make sure the batter is properly charged. Next remove and inspect you spark plugs. If they are worn replace them. If they are dirt, clean them and check their gaps before re-installing.

There could be a few problems. If it has a manual choke it will take time to start. You must try it a few times with full choke, then try it with partial choke. It may also need a tune up or have fuel contamination.

It could be one of any number of problems. I would check the gas first. Even if the tank isn't empty, if its been sitting awhile the gas could be no good. I would also check the spark plugs, they may not be firing. Also check the wiring for the atv.
