is it common to have excessive sweating with heart problems?

We have extensive heart disease in our family, I am concerned that I may be a new victim of it as I have started to sweat a great deal of the time.

This can be common. However, there are also other issues to consider. It's normal when exercising, hot weather, side effects of certain medications, and sometimes excessive sweating is simply hereditary.

No excessive sweating is not always associates with heart problem sometimes it could be due to anxiety or depression. As you have heart disease in your family it is always better to consult a doctor. Do some exercise like brisk walking.

Increased weight and blood pressure, both of which can lead to heart problems, can also cause excessive sweating. A sudden onset of cold sweat may also be a sign of a heart attack.
