Perhaps you are drinking plenty of fluids, but you are not giving your body what it needs to feel adequately hydrated. If you are active or have a high metabolism, try drinking more water along with a sports drink with sodium to help with water retention. If symptoms still occur, it would be wise to check with a doctor.

You need to drink a lot of water to prevent dehydration. If you feel you're drinking enough and are urinating a lot, you should check with your doctor as it could be a symptom of something more serious. In the summer, when it's hot you should drink a lot especially if you are outside working.

Do you work out a lot or do heavy, physical tasks at work? What are you drinking during the day? If you drink coffee, tea, or alcohol, you could actually be losing more water than you're taking in, due to the diuretic properties of each.

Dehydration could be a hidden cause of some sickness that should be checked out. Alcohol will cause dehydration. Some prescribed medicines will too. Just try to drink more liquids.

If you are physically active and losing a lot of excessive sweat you would be more dehydrated than normally. If not, you may have a medical condition that requires attention.

A lack of fluids causes dehydration. Drink more water, and liquids in general. Eight glasses, or 64 ounces, a day is the reccomonded amount of water.

Dehydration may be due to diabates. Check your blood sugar as soon as possible. Another reason for dehydration is hyperthyroidism. For that you have to check your T3-T4 hormone levels. It is better to avoid diuretics like caffeine or alcohol. Diuretic is any substance which causes prolonged urination. Dehydration may alos occur due to abnormal sleeping patterns.
