This classic book was written in 1985 by neurologist Oliver Sacks. It is a series of essays based on unusual cases Sacks handled throughout his career. For instance, one story inspired a scene in the film "Rain Man". A similar book is "Phantoms in the Brain" by V.S. Ramachandrian.
