The gospels are the first four book of the New Testament - Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. Most religions believe that they were written by Jesus disciples: Matthew. Mark, Luke and John. Some religions believe that it is unknown who wrote the gosples.

The Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John are all the same gospel but each of those men wrote their version of the events.

The gospels of the New Testament were written by 4 men. Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. These four men wrote about the life of Jesus on earth.
