Leviticus is the third of the five Books of Moses in the Bible. Moses is the author but all the contents came to him from God. For example in the first scripture in the book of Leviticus it says that the LORD '… spake unto him out of the tabernacle of the congregation,…'

Moses wrote Leviticus. This book refers to the Word of the Lord as spoken to Moses from the Tabernacle of meeting; this book was preserved by the priests and Levites.
