Some of the best were Flip Wilson, the smothers Brothers, and Dan Rowan and Dick Martin, along with many on the cast of Laugh In. Bill Cosby started out in acting and music before his first comedy album hit the charts in 1964. Johnny Carson commanded late night tv, and there were wonderful ladies like Carol Burnett.
