Lane Frost was a bull rider on the rodeo circuit. He died in 1989 in Cheyenne, Wyoming from injuries sustained after successfully riding a bull named "Takin' Care of Business". The movie "8 seconds" portrays his life and death, and several musicians have paid tribute to his memory in song.
